Fire Fire You're a Liar

I've been thinking a lot about my latest book, called Fire Fire You're a Liar, and wondering about how I'm going to be able to get into the mind of arsonist. I feel that I need to get under his skin, to reveal how he thinks and why he thinks that way. This not to make him more sympathetic but ensure the reader that there is a point of connection that they will understand.

I've thought about why he does what he does and have decided on that scenario. Something tragic had to happen in his past to make him turn to trying to control fire. Of course, doing that is almost impossible so the question is how he will go about trying and if he will succeed. I know the answers to these questions but I can't share that with you or you won't need to read the book.

I plan on getting inside his head and revealing what's there to the reader through his self talk and train of thought. You may guess the identity of the arsonist but at this point only I know what motivates him. I hope that lends some suspense to the book. I guess that I'm being a kind of a tease but I also hope he has a few surprises in store for you. I expect to finish the writing of it by the spring of 2027. I look forward to your comments!
