The Train to Somewhere

My Blue Angel is the name of my memoirs. I very much wanted to write a spiritual book about my life, one that could be uplifting and not just about abuse. It begins with the birth of an angel, Iris, who is assigned to watch over me. It soon becomes obvious that I need a guardian.
The initial scene is of me running ahead of a train. Yes, that really happened. The train was bearing down on me as I ran across a bridge. I didn't have time to be scared; I had to beat that train. Obviously, I did escape unharmed, but the book has a twist to it that isn't resolved until the end. You'll see.
This was not an easy book for me to write. I wanted to prevent the innocent from being hurt. I'm not certain I achieved that goal but I tried. After all, you all know who I am and therefore, whom I wrote about. This is difficult to explain. The truth is that only the offenders are protected by remaining silent. The innocent are just that.
My daughter, Meaghan, told me that despite the yucky parts, it was by far my best book. I hope you will consider reading it for just that reason. Now don't look at the end before you read the whole book. That would ruin the surprise.
Blessings,
Barbara
